\Short Films\

With the selection of the latest production of shorts, where an evident accent has been placed on the European film (which was done entirely spontaneously without any a priori calculations because the key criterium is that they are films of high quality, and most of them are multiple laureates in world’s festivals), we continue the tradition of fostering this important film genre. The programs so far, as well as this year’s program, contribute to the idea that in the near future we want to have a competitive selection of shorts with special awards. However, this will be done when the conditions are matured, and for now we are filled with joy that our Program is apparently enriched with anthology works from all genres of the latest world’s short films production. These films will be screened as a prelude to those from the Main Competition, which is the best possible combination in the projection of the Program and the popularisation of the short film achievements.
